Just watching CNN. They Pro-Syrian government has just resigned. Huge celebrations in Beirut.

You are most warmly welcome. The photos are great. There are some of the Lebanonese army and/or police knocking some of the protestors about, but I chose not to post them. Liberty is winning. Those who would attempt to crush it are being thrown on the ash heap of history.

Go right ahead. And I'm gonna defend 'em if I think you're wrong. People here are quick to nitpick and pile on FNC. It doesn't seem to occur to most of them that 1) FNC is not a channel doing conservatives' bidding, no matter how much the libs pretend it is; and 2) A majority of this site is likely tuned in to FNC at any given time, thereby increasing the likelihood that someone will get upset over commercials or the choice to cover other news events.
This may be big news to us political junkies, but it's not gonna raise eyebrows (and, hence, ratings) of the average Joe. Which is rather sad, but it's reality.
