Jesus J. Robles-Sanchez, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was convicted by a Jefferson County jury last week of second-degree assault and driving without a license for a crash in May that injured a woman in Herculaneum.
Assistant Prosecutor Steve Jerrell said Robles-Sanchez was driving drunk on Commercial Boulevard at Riverview Drive in Herculaneum on May 7, when his SUV struck the rear of a car driven by Angela Biehle as she waited to turn left onto Riverview Drive.

I guess this settles the question about what Jesus would drive.

And they actually called him and "illegal immigrant"!!
I guess they are finally getting it on why subscriptions and readership is down.
I wonder if the new owners are going to shake things up? I sure hope so.
I caught that, too. Maybe because this reporter is working out of Jeff. County which isn't exactly the Central West End. They're not very pc in Jeff. County.

Lets hope so.

At first the new owners said that they would change nothing. But I think if a change is coming it will be gradual.

you're correct, i've never seen a newspaper use "illegal immigrant".
18 years of reading the los angeles times and you will not see that term used.
I hope he doesn't show up here again, but I'm not optomistic. It is interesting to me that I have had to prove citizenship to be employed here in St. Louis when there is nothing that would lead anyone to believe that I am not a native American, or the company would allegedly have incurred substantial fines. This does not appear to be the case if there is reason for suspicion when, for instance, you do not even speak English. What a wacky world.
I bet it never would've happened if Jesus had an official state driver's license! (insert sarcastic tone here)
at which time he will be turned over to the Immigration and Naturalization Service..........
For immediate release.
Readership is down at the St. Louis Post-Disgrace do to years of a leftist editorial staff constantly preaching to us peasants on the evils of being a conservative, being a nationalist, and a voting republican. Recently, new owners took over. We'll see if there is a change.
Somebody of authority needs to look into how this. I'd like to know which restaurants these were since TB has been re-introduced into the USA by illegal aliens.
There are some freepers who think illegals are dandy. Cheap labor, ya know. Maybe we can sent this guy to them and he can cook them up a spaghetti dinner.
This is a matter of some serious concern, particularly with restaurant workers. This was such a devastating disease for so long and then it was brought under control. Subsequently, as I understand it, people who contracted the disease and were not consistent in their treatment developed strains that were resistant to the usual and effective treatments. This is worrisome as the disease is so easily transmitted.
Make you want to cook your own meals.
This country worked real hard to eliminate TB. Its just a shame that it may be coming back because our borders are basically undefended.
I am a proud resident of Jefferson County - ya just never know!
Hate to say it but the new owners are worse than the old ones - at the time of the sale I did a check of their other publications and it was a sad site. The more Red Missouri turns, the worse it's going to be for them. Hopefully they will learn.

I have a family member who manages a restaurant in North County and illegals working in the kitchens are not uncommon. Half his kitchen staff are native Mexicans, non-US citizens. He thinks some are illegal but they provided the proper forms and were hired. Unfortunately, he doesn`t really care some are illegal because they are the only ones that are willing to work , so he says.
He complains his payroll is so high he can`t afford Americans ( the restaurant should be closed IMO, thing barely turns a profit for the company, but since it is considered to be in a blighted (sic?) area, corp. keeps it open). He has one hostess that makes $15.00 an hour !! Been with the company 22 years and he can`t get rid of her. LOL !
