Thanks. That seemed like the most likely answer. Most libs use that point as evidence of a vast Rovian plot--a plot so all-encompassing, so diabolical, it appears in the short term to be utterly pointless. Yes, the mighty Rove will use a conservative reporter to some little-known website to brainwash the world!
Did you ever watch Freakazoid? The libs' Gannongate theory reminds me of that episode in which that Evil Professor designed a fog machine, and used it to transform the residents of an isolated Swiss hamlet into clowns who could only talk by honking their noses. Brilliant and yet...dumb.

They should talk to Dan Rather on the ramifications of beating a story to death.
That's a terrific idea, IMO. We should do some through deep research on all the White House press corps!
Slaughter and Conyers.....together their IQ's don't make a FEVER. Are there ANY dumber critters in the House than these two, now that Boxer and Wyden are in the Senate.
Liberals only defend homosexuality of other libs. Same goes for minorities. Bring on the Aunt Jemima and Uncle Tom jokes, anything goes for conservative minorities...
Whatever happened to Ex-Gov. McGreevey? I bet the liberals defended that homo crook to the end of the earth.
Am I mistaken, or is that old hag Helen Thomas just an editorialist? I don't recall the old sac of pus reporting from Iraq, or elsewhere. What gives her the right to sit in on Q&A?
Helen Thomas is really Jabba the Hut in drag.
The MSM is kinda quiet about this, perhaps they don't want their undie drawer gone though.
To be fair though, Craig Livingstone was only given access to secret FBI files on enemy Republicans, whereas columnist James Guckert was allowed to ask questions in the White House Press Room. You see, there's really no comparison.
The sites they are refering to had been shut down and needed a special search engine to find.
AmericaBLOGs John Aravosis has discovered previous images of the site through an Internet service which keeps records of sites that have been taken down
Think potted plant ...
Im surprised the paranoid moonbat Hinchey was not in on this kook cabal.
" Has anyone started exploring the backgrounds of various lib reporters who have had White House access through the years?? "
The news orgs that sponsor White House correspondents are pretty cagey with their reporters bios.
The Washington Post has a list of the WH correspondents
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/administration/whbriefing/correspondents.html
If a reporter has a journalism degree, that info is forthcoming. Otherwise, it seems the educational background of most correspondents is vague.
When a bio is officially listed, their background can be anything from English literature to philosophy , with an occasional journalism degree.
No official mention of the correspondents sexual orientation, history of renting x rated videos , extra marital affairs and/or familiarity with prostitutes.
Good question.
99.9% of Hollyweird lefties should be summoned before congress to explain why they all have phony names. Do they pay taxes and child support under their real names, or their made up ones?
Good idea. Could also look at the questions they asked Bubba to see if they were any softball questions.....maybe it's just me, but I have a sneaking suspicion there may have been one or two ;-)
