Silly question, but why was the Secret Service involved? Secret services has jurisdiction over internet crimes. That's why Paris Hilton's cell phone book was investigated by Secret Service as well.

Secret services has jurisdiction over internet crimes. That's why Paris Hilton's cell phone book was investigated by Secret Service as well. Why is that? Why wasn't the FBI given jurisdiction? I think half of our policing problems is that we have 50 different agencies that handle different areas.
