I spoke with Tom Lipscomb a short time ago. Tom did great reporting for the New York Sun about John Kerry's phony war record and the plot in Kansas City.
He has been nominated for a Pulitzer for his reporting, but is not hold his breath. He knows they will never award it to him because of the subject of the reports.
Tom is named in a song on the new parody CD, YOU'BE BEEN FREEPED, Vol. 1. We did a version of BATTLE OF NEW ORLEANS by Johnny Horton that became the BATTLE OF KANSAS CITY.
Our kudos to Tom for great investigative reporting about John Kerry. It is likely that he helped make a difference in the campaign, although he would say that's not his job. He just did honest reporting. It was up to others to do what they wished with the reports and information. Honest journalism, not advocacy.
Thanks for the good news!
They are, but evidently some flaws exist in the screening process.
Thanks for the ping.
He deserves the Pulitzer.
Thanks very much, but the Freeper of the Year award is a much higher honor.
Thanks for the ping.

When I was a child, I thought that a Pulitzer was a great thing.
When I became a man, I put away childish notions!
A Pulitzer is not at all what they would pretend to have it be.
"A Pulitzer is not at all what they would pretend to have it be."
Correct! It is a celebration of left wing liberals.
While it is true that his testimony in '71 was grossly false, hasn't the fact that he has perpetuated for 35 years the whole VN myth make it current and not necessarily only about '71??
However, if a conservative journalist/freeper has been nominated for the Pulitzer, I consider this a breakthrough, with more honors to come to others in the future.
Sooner or later, hopefully, these formerly laudable prizes will again become un-corrupted if conservatives remain on the offensive with creativity and activism. As Dylan sang, "The times they are a-changing."
(.....not the New York Times, of course......)

Anyone know how to nominate for a Pulitzer and who is eligible to nominate?
June Maxam of theEmpireJournal.com, NY is doing the
best investigative journalism on Terri Schiavo's
plight ever done. If/when Terri's life is spared (LORD willing) June will have been a major part of unravelling the incredible corruption in Florida state government.
"While it is true that his testimony in '71 was grossly false, hasn't the fact that he has perpetuated for 35 years the whole VN myth make it current and not necessarily only about '71??"
Great point. And now he and Teddy K. are trying to do the same with this war and its warriors, but hiding behind some false sense of "feeling their pain."
In reality, to Kerry our soldiers fall under three categories: 1. Victims 2. fools 3. enemies (if they oppose him in any way).
I wonder how many times he flipped his manicured finger at Vietnam Vets this last year?
She won, too.
sKerry the traitor bump
Terrific!
What a day, Tom Lipscomb honored and Dan Rather says goodnight...!
Thanks for the ping!
Great news that Tom Lipscomb has been nominated.
He is most deserving for his excellent investigative reporting.
Wish we had more journalists like him.
