clutched a Samuel Adams in his left hand

An "Anchor Steam" would have been more appropriate...

Is Buckhead a blogger? Or is he just a poster here on FR?

Its just somewhat ironic to me that the MSM couldn't even get this story quite straight.

Maybe a stirring rendition of anchors "away" would have been a nice touch too.

I'm sure she'll have something to say about this in her column this Sunday.

Which is why on the night of Sept. 8, at 11:59:43 pm, MacDougald clicked the submit button on the iMac in his bedroom and posted a message questioning the documents Rather used, ostensibly from the 1970s.

They didn't confuse FR with being a blog, I guess that's progress.

Buckhead isn't a blogger, but the MSM seems to use that term to refer to FReepers and other posters on bulletin boards. It seems to be a shorthand way of describing anyone who posts on the Internet.

Unfortunately, Dan Rather's not gone from CBS. He'll still be filing stories for the television show that started Rathergate - 60 Minutes. But he didn't make it to his 25th anniversary as news anchor, which allegedly meant a lot to Mr. Rather.

Amid the wafting smells of spicy meatballs and wine, in front of a Sony projection TV in Sandy Springs, Harry MacDougald clutched a Samuel Adams in his left hand Wednesday night as Dan Rather bid adieu after 24 years at the anchor of the "CBS Evening News."

But MacDougald did not cry in his beer

There are rumors that CBS will drop 60 Minutes II due to poor ratings. If that happens, he won't be broadcasting from CBS.

The socialist "mainstream" media is so out of touch that they do not understand the difference between a news forum and a blog. It's really as simple as that.
