As all the prayer warriors know, Jacquelyn Salcido has been battling Leukemia for almost 2 years. She has just had a bone marrow transplant and she is making her own platelets and things are looking more optimistic for her.
Although the program is not about her, she is going to appear on "Extreme Makeover" an ABC program. My granddaughter just saw the commercial and Jacquelyn is hugging another child.

I just thought I'd let everyone know so they could see who they've been praying for for so long. I haven't seen her for months myself but she is doing better.

Has it been two years? I know Jacquelyn has been in my prayers for a long time, and knowing she has received a successful bone marrow transplant is like breathing a sigh of relief. Praise God!
My computer is very slow tonight and I can't get the link to find out the time of the program. Hope I won't miss it.

Tiki, good to hear that Jacqueline is doing better. We are still remembering her in our prayers.
She's a fighter, and that's a good thing. Tell her that her Freeper friends haven't forgotten about her.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You for the wonderful news about this darling girl ... may Your healing hand continue to rest upon Jacquelyn unto the time of complete restoration to health. She has struggled so, O God, and endured so much, but Your faithfulness to her and her family causes great rejoicing. May she now begin to enjoy her childhood in strength, to the delight of her family. We praise You, Merciful Father, now and forevermore. Amen ...

How fun for her!
Do you have a time/network/date when this is going to be televised?
Glad her health is on the upside.
Don't forget to tape the episode!

Tell Jacquelyn that I've decided to try an "Extreme Makeover" of my own. For the past seven months I've avoided all haircuts. Ten inches of hair can be donated to
Locks of Love. Five inches down, five to go. I'm close to the Ward Churchill cut, a few months away from the Michael Jackson look.

The two hour special started at 7pm. They just knocked down the little girls house with three bulldozers. Cassandra is at the hospital with Disney painters working over the walls there...
