This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.
Fulton County is a mess, legally, but I thought that they had those courtrooms buttoned-up security-wise.

Just heard about the Judge.
My office overlooks the downtown area, including the court house. There must be a million cops down there.
Did he carjack those getaway vehicles? Were there passengers in them? OR did he shortwire them, and if so how in the world could he have done it so quickly?
They were having trouble loading a large man into an ambulance.
WSB-TV: Multiple cars stolen by the perp, apparently headed west or northwestward from the courthouse and the downtown area.
Three People Shot, Including Deputy
A Fulton County sheriff's deputy and two additional people were shot in downtown Atlanta Friday morning. A search is underway for a suspect.
The deputy was shot shortly before 9 a.m. near the Fulton County courthouse on Pryor Street. The deputy was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
11Alive Reporter Denis O'Hare reported from the scene that the injuries to the deputy looked serious.
Police were looking for a green Mazda Tribute with the license plate 4643 ABW in connection with the shooting. Officials said that the suspect carjacked at least one vehicle from a Centennial Olympic Park parking deck and transferred to at least two other vehicles and was last thought to be in a Grey or Green Honda Accord with the license plate 6584YN.
The circumstances of the shooting were unknown.

CNN reporting the incident occured on the eigth floor! How in the hell did this guy ever get out of the building? He, and many more like him, should be shot during his escape attempt.
They did not say the deputy was dead, but at Grady. I believe the Judge Barnes has passed away. I just heard that two Sheriff deputies are in Grady for injuries.
....Atlanta is no longer what it once was. Not just the courtrooms. It is obscene was has happened to our city. Judge Barnes? Related to Roy?
They usually are, from my media experience there. This is a complete surprise to me.
It's thought he carjacked several cars during the get away. Whether there were people still in them, no reporting. Let's hope not.
Carjacked by the sounds of it. My have pistol whipped, or punched, one person in the head to get their car.
I heard carjacked. This was from the guy in the helicopter. Didn't say if the owner of the car got out.

Maybe the killer will suicide by cop. I hate to hope for that, but I'm thinking it could be the best outcome available.
