Your analogy is pretty much right on the money. We see this happening and yet we do nothing. Actually, we befriend and coddle the very people who want to destroy us. Half our country probably thinks our fall into their hands will be a good thing. The future looks very shakey unless everyone gets their head out of the sand and see what is so obviously going on around us.

We have basically slid back into the pre-911 mentality. Worse, now these idiotic liberals are defending their right to destroy us ... un-feakin-believable!
9-11 woke me up and made me angry ... these people it turned into whiney little wimps!

I did an employee benefit enrollment at a 100 employee mfg company and afterwards the HR lady called me and told me that she had done a social security audit of her employees and found that 10 were working there with false social security cards. 10%!!!!!! She had to fire the 10.
One employee had been there 10 years and was one of their most trusted employees. He said he had another ss #, but it was collecting worker's comp for him. He wanted to know if he should go "get it" so he could keep his job!

Even though I'm a disgruntled former employee of Progress Energy, I gotta defend them on this. This guy probably got in on a "red badge" which means he had an escort the entire time he was in the protected area. The escorts cannot let the red badged people out of their sight at any time. They even have to go to the bathroom together. And everybody who goes into any nuclear power plant has to go through a security checkpoint like at the airport plus an explosives detector.
Oh, and to get in on a red badge requires a picture ID such as a driver's license and a pat-down search.

I have a friend that used to work for an assemblywoman here in California. She used to "get" all the emails. She told me she went down the list and....

I said u didn't tabulated them, etc?
She said I didn't even read them.
Every email I send is backed up with a phone call now.

If you are an American you require a full resume and refence check, background check, urine sample and a note from a religious leader (not Catholic though).
And that's to work at McDonalds.

And people still say they're here to pick lettuce, etc? Of course they are. Would you want to pick glowing lettuce from inside a centrifuge?

Those politicians can get kind of testy, though, so you might end up getting an automated response directing you to click here. (Adult content, no kids allowed.)

The incident raised concerns about soft spots in nuclear security that terrorists could exploit. Why is it that concern is only acknowledged when some high profile security breach is detected?
I personally am as concerned about the manual labor jobs at food processing plants that are filled with illegals and which provide the potential of causing mass casualties through contamination.
As much as I am pi**ed off at the illegals, I am twice as pi**ed at the government officials that are willingly and knowingly allowing this to happen against the wishes of the people they serve.
In my opinion, if the time ever comes when the illegals are rounded up and deported, we should round up those government officials as well, strip them of their citizenship, declare them persona non grata and dump them across the border as well.

They're only doing jobs that lazy, illiterate Americans don't want. And cheaper too. Besides which, family values don't stop at the border. The president says so, and he ought to know.

I doubt that he was given unescorted access. He was probably being escorted on a work crew until his BI came back. In doing the BI I'll bet they discovered the false documents. That is generally how it works. I have been on many of sites in a escorted situation.

You are probably right and that is good to know. It would be hard, though not impossible, to think that this guy was just strolling around unesorted.

When it happens, President Clinton will argue that the only solution is a curtailment of 2nd Amendment rights.
