"Flirtin' With Disaster"... Great song. I love Southern rock. Sorry to hear of his passing.
I love the lead break in that song.
The one concert I missed out on was Molly Hatchet and the Outlaws at the Marice Gussman center in Miami, around '79 or so.
My buddies came back and said that those two bands literally blew the plaster off the ceiling.
I saw them a year or two later, when they had already fallen from grace. Mother's Finest was opening for them then.
I like that song too (and most Southern Rock).
RIP
Me too, I just listened to Fall Of The Peacemakers last night.
Flirtin' With Disasater was my teenaged anthem. Sad to hear of his passing. Growing up in rural NC in the late 70's and early 80's, you absolutely had to have a Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, Nantucket, and Skynyrd tape (eight track, or cassette if you were uppity). If you had anything less than those aforementioned tapes, you were branded by that most dreaded of labels: "Boy, you ain't from shit!".
