With no forensic evidence linking Blake to the killing, this was always going to be a tough one. The jury foreman said the prosecutor's solicitation witnesses were just too drugged out, too spacey to be believed.
This will be one heck of a movie, if one day the real killer, (the one Blake probably hired), is living high on the hog on a tropical isle....one that does not have an extradiction treaty with the US.

My opinion......he was shaken but laughing when the verdict was read. He tried to hide his face but I saw no tears at all.
Saw only little bits of his appearance afterward and got the feeling he thought he put one over on everyone.
He bought justice.......an attorney just said that the victim was not likeable and Blake was.....so.......
The reverse was true of the Peterson trial. He was not likeable and Laci surely was.
This from an attorney commenting on both trials today.

It seems that Laci was guiding the worst attorney of all towards the Petersons.
His lack of ethics had to be what drove the Petersons to choose him.

The girl is truly unstable, having just gone thru a custody battle with the father of her last child born out of wedlock.
Her own homelife was unstable as well.
I have great sympathy for her and would only hope that she gets some serious counselling.
Without her testimony there would have been no conviction. Some defense attorneys are insisting the wire taps should not have been allowed into the trial. Those conversations gave us a window in Scott's corrupt soul.

San QuentinHe'll spend a good amount of time at San Quentin.
For God's sake, we all spent eight lousy years in 'San Clinton'!
By the way, I had 5000 bumper stickers made up in 1996 that read (with a nice American flag on the left of it):
Doin' Time In San Clinton (we were all in pain and in prison in those days, imo). I still have about a thousand of them left. I hope we need not have a use for them after January, 2008.
If you would like a few ............... let me know.

As all I do to hope she improves her character and puts her life in order so her kids can benefit as well as her spirit.
As a woman as soon as I heard Scott's whiny feminine voice on those tape my stomach turned and as the trial went on I started seeing his face go from relatively handsome to a face of evil grossness.
