I agree and disagree.

It would not matter what weapon was used there - it would have still been the same result.

However, taking them away from law-abiding people would be unfair - they just need to snare down criminals and have safety programs available.

Still, urban areas are not where the bulk of the gun owners reside...

1. Look at where most of the "gun crime" occurs in this country and you will see it is among certain groups of people who live in certain neighborhoods. It doesn't happen much in rural Colorado or Montana where the percentage of gun owners is considerably higher than inner city Pittsburgh.

2. Many folks in these urban sh-tholes are disqualified from owning firearms of any kind anyway due to "prior convictions." Their guns are often obtained illegally.
