God, I don't want to be out of line . . . and I don't recall every praying this way before . . . but please don't have mercy on their souls . . . unless you have some Supremely Godly reason to do so.
Lord, any creatures who would boil young girls alive . . . seem to me to be begging for a very hot eternity. Why disappoint them?
Quix, I'm with you 100%. This is horrifying and anyone that can even imagine the evil of what was done to those poor babes would never think otherwise. Usually I laugh at adult mishaps and I revel in the shooting of criminals by citizens, but this...this is from the realms of hell. I would gladly shoot these monsters down like mad dogs.
The world we live is seems to become more wicked by the hour. The evil is so pervasive that you can almost feel it surrounding you. Its as though God Himself has had enough and has just turned Satan loose to do what he will.
Cases in point, in addition to the cannibalism in the Congo are the determination of evil men to take the life of Terri Schiavo, and the unchecked child kidnapping and sex-trade that flourishes within our country and throughout the world.
Many of us who support Terri and her parents' quest to keep her from being murdered by court order have prayed without ceasing for God's intervention. Even if Terri's life is not spared in answer to prayers rising from over the world, I would think that God's answer to such prayers is to open our eyes to once unimaginable evils extant in our society and to actively rise up against them while yet bowing before Him in prayer.
