In my heart I know that sins are sins are sins. I can't help comparing despite knowing that's a slippery slope. I think it's natural to do that though when we're sure we're seeing pure evil.
The Bible is a bit . . . both/and on that score.
Before The Cross--before God--any and all sin separates us.
Yet, sexual sins--evidently because they insult the metaphor for Christ's love for the Church so much--seme to carry an extra demonic element to them when engaged in more than very slightly.
