Greer has the power to starve a congressional witness to death?

Now the Congress can bring charges against the Judge.

I'll be happy to answer your question, after you answer mine.

Would you do this to your mom?

Yes or no?

Does anyone see the parellels between this and an abortion? Two beings in a vegitated state at the mercy of outside forces they cannot control. What is sad is that the The truly sad thing is that with a baby you KNOW that there is a 99.9% chance they will 'come out' of the vegetative state and lead a normal life. How can it possibly be ok to kill someone in that state? I pray someday we have the technology to save babies from mothers that want to kill them and transplant them into other women or raise the to birth age in an artificial womb.

"And, now, they are saying she reacted to the news that her tube was to be removed by trying to get up out of her bed"

I feel like crying.

He also said he makes these decisions every day. So it's pretty clear why he has no problem with Terri not being allowed to decide. He obviously thinks the decision should be left up to someone of his calibre. Indvidual rights are a threat to these people.

Barbara Weller has been with Terri all day and Barbara states that Teri communicated she wanted to live.

Think about it.

When someone decides to commit suicide, we are ethically obligated to do everything in our power to prevent it.

The question: "What would I want?" is ethically irrelevant, because it falsely assumes that what is ethical is determined by our wants as introspectively perceived. Even when someone wants to die, ethically we do not have the right to kill him.

Exactly. Thank you.

Hi, this is a rush and breaking from me and Floriduh Voter.

We got news on what happened to Terri. Terri said "I--want--to--live" and was heard from a policeman. They ushered out the Schindlers and the policeman now denies the story. They went ahead bent on continuing. Terri is talking, and she is being silenced!!!!

Time for action. I can do little, could be bumped any moment from the library computer. Please whoever needs to know this and can help now it the time to step in. Floriduh Voter is doing an incredible job in getting the word out but we need your help.

If I do not reply it is because I am being bumped off this access. Also this may be overtaken by events, but this just happened and I was privy to the info when it broke.

Congress should double stampies and no erasies. Shiavo's bed is free base. In other words, it seems to me this is a legal paradox. They can starve congressional witnesses?

Thanks for Sharing and You are right about that point, but this is outright Murder. The Empire Journal is reporting that just now an Attorney reported that she just told Terri her tube would be removed and she cried and tried to say "No, I want to Live!" Her Estranged HINO lied about her wanting to be dead!!!We all must know that now, Terri can communicate and she is only brain damaged and only She and God knows how she has been tortured by this horrible man for all these years, every second knowing he was her torturer and trying to murder her. God Bless Terri and her family.

From what I heard, JINO Greer declared that 'spoon feeding' was experimental and therefore HINO MS had the right to refuse it. I don't know about the rest.

Here is the court ruling where Greer says that natural feeding would constitute am experimental procedure: IN THE CIRCUIT COURST FOR PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA PROBATE DIVISION File No. 90-2908-GD-003 IN RE: THE GUARDIANSHIP OF THERESA MARIE SCHIAVO, Incapacitated. MICHAEL SCHIAVO, Petitioner, Vs. ROBERT SCHINDLER and MARY SCHINDLER, Respondents. ORDER THIS CAUSE came before the Court for hearing on March 7, 2005 on Respondents' Emergency Expedited Motion for Permission to Provide Theresa Schiavo with Food and Water by Natural Means after the assisted nutrition and hydration are discontinued. The Court heard the argument of Daniel C. Gibbs, III, Esq., for the Respondents, and of George J. Felos, Esq., foe the Petitioner. Having also reviewed portions of declarations or affidavits of several doctors, which were submitted to the Court by Respondents, it has become clear that the motion is part and parcel of Respondents' Fla. R. Civ. P Rule 1.540(b)(5) motion of medical evaluations. The same declarations are being used for both motions and the motion appears to be an alternative pleading to the 1.540(b)(5) motion. Both are asking for an experimental procedure. The Court reasons that if the 1.540(b)(5) motion is granted, there is no need for this motion. If the 1/540(b)(5) motion is denied, the Court should not do indirectly what it has not done directly. It is therefore ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that Respondents' Emergency Expedited Motion for Permission to Provide Theresa Schiavo with Food and Water by Natural Means is DENIED. DONE AND ORDERED in Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida, this 8 day of March, 2005. Signed George W. Greer Circuit Judge Copies to all lawyers
