And the reason they are windbags in part I think is that Republican primary voters won't clean house and put up good general election candidates.

Oh my, I thought we had laid Hildy's well wiped you-know-what to rest.

Can we all agree that you-know-whats are not to be mentioned anymore? And wiping them?

I'VE NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THE DISABLED. NEVER. I'm talking about a woman who is legally brain dead.

Not even MS and the ghouls representing them have EVER maintained that she is brain dead

What about sending him to Camp X-ray. They must have a spare cell for him there!

I feel that my husband trumps my Mother and he WILL speak for me. That is the most important aspect of this sad and heart wrenching situation.

But not all husband's have their wives interests at heart like yours and mine. Being married to MS or OJ is not quite the same. That's why living wills are needed. Not just their word.

Where I live, if something happens to me and my husband our kids are made ward of the state unless we put in writng where they are to go. Even if our verbal wishes are otherwise.

Exactly---what would the odds be of ONE person having both parents and a wife "need" to be killed?

Feminists are mostly about abortion, euthanasia, and liberalism, not the rooting out of real problems that women encounter.

That would make an excellent starting point for the discovery process in this matter.

I do not think anyone is stating that an existing properly executed living will would have solved this. If her living will said it and it had the requisite notarization and two witnesses then there is no debate one way OR the other.

If she had a living will which said keep me alive, then the husband would have had to go into court and provide evidence that 1. it was a fake or 2. she had changed her mind. In that situation he would have lost.

I think there is a valid concern that this not be turned into the first steps towards a policy of "duty to die." I do not think any reasonable person wants that.

Impeach and remove from the bench. They should be doing that to the current crop of judicial clowns daily, until they learn how to read and stop making things up as they bloody well please.

What does it tell you about our country that a case like this is being debated down party lines?

THAT is despicable no matter what "side" you are on, and should be a MAJOR talking point in the news--the fact that different congresspersons would vote on life or death for one person depending on Dem or REP--

outrageous!

Supposedly the late Mrs. Clara Schiavo, dying of cancer, begged her son MRS not to exterminate Terri, but she could not control any of her highstrung sons.

Well thank God, Dr. Charles Krauthammer did not share your immature opinion when he became a quadriplegic over three decades ago.

Or Steven Hawkin, to name another.

Because years ago the doctors inserted METAL probes in her brain to be able to stimulate it and an MRI would pull them out and do her in for sure.
