Let me make this as clear as possible and I am not tap dancing around anything.

It is my belief a husband/wife trumps parents. If that is not a sacred bond then lets just go down the democrat right of way. I refuse to do that. I have made my decision to marry my wonderful husband. I have told him my beliefs and I have to believe he will honor my wishes, if he doesn't it falls on me and my BAD JUDGMENT

As someone who has needed a feeding tube I can tell you it isn't the way I would want to live my life. But as I said, different medical conditions require different therapy

This is by far one of the most difficult decision one can make. Unless on a jury implementing death.

But what happens in cases where your betrothed "turns away", and in their own interests, acts against yours? History is more than replete with (often horrorific) examples. IMO, the husband-wife relationship is far more transient than the parent-child relationship (excepting the inevitable end of life due to aging). JMHO.
