Sigh, read it again. Or are you saying Indians were just like on Disney's Pocahontas? Enlightened environmentalists that lived in communes? Trendy inclusive gay promoting vegetarians?
Gee, I sort of like the version where they were fierce survivors suited to their situation. And the complement of their adversaries calling them the best light cavalry in the world must offend you somehow.
As for the Irish, I do know the history. I kind of like it. In fact, I like it so much I just might choose it for my screen name here.
