I clicked off the TV when I heard some man insisting that the most important consideration was the "right" of her husband. I thought we were past that husbands own wives thing. I do not think husbands have the right to abuse or kill their wives. But now we are at a point where the judge orders the killing. That's not even a slippery slope. It is a precipice.

Yes, earlier today I turned off the radio where the host, usually well-informed, was anything but. He maintained that Michael Schiavo had every right to decide Terri's fate.
The host proclaimed that he had researched the Schiavo story and cited articles from several mainstream newspapers to support his views. What ignorance!!! The mainstream newspapers either can't or won't tell the true story.
