Will that still apply if the federal judge now reviewing
the case agrees with the previous 19 judges who have ruled
with the husband?

She was trying to starve herself on her own! I didn't realize that either. I just read this in a newspaper:

Terri Schiavo suffered brain damage in 1990 when her heart stopped briefly because of a possible potassium imbalance brought on by an eating disorder.

How ironic....

"He is trying to run out the clock and wait for Terri to die or pass the point of no return. He is a Clinton appointee and used to be a public defender, he only has compassion for criminals, not for innocent disabled women, who are being murdered, while he fiddles."

How did you come by this "fair opinion"?

If she were a dog according to Florida law the owners who denied food and water would be fined $5,000 and subject to jail time. Would say Florida residents have not done a very good job of tracking their laws!

Unbelievable... hope the "judge" enjoys a fine meal and a cool drink of water before he attends to the constitutional rights of this poor woman. Devoid of kindness or mercy.

I did not know that -- Florida is beginning to give me the creeps and make me never want to visit.

I do know that when he won a malpractice lawsuit, not long after that her rehab and efforts to improve her condition virtually came to a standstill. I wonder if that idiot Felos the Felon has an interest in this hospice she is in. I heard he does own or have interest in some hospices.

Her parents deny the eating disorder excuse claimed by husband.

Yes, how ironic, she was probably hurling lunch to be thin for her husband. People with eating disorders are internalizing outward problems. She and Michael had a bad marriage. How ironic that Michael still wants to starve her!

The husband knew something about medical procedures and nursing. He could have made it look good!

FYI, 19 judges haven't "ruled with the husband".
Judge Greer has been the only Judge to rule in this case.

I did not know that -- Florida is beginning to give me the creeps and make me never want to visit.

I live in FL but the Tampa area has given me the creeps. Same for Clearwater where the Scientologists have their HQ

http://libertytothecaptives.net/scientology_clearwater_bar_association_judge_greer.html

Greer is "passing the test" with flying colors  because he is permitting Michael Schiavo to abuse, exploit and neglect his disabled wife in defiance of the Florida statues. And the Clearwater Bar Association cheers.

Scientology attorney Wally Pope—who represented his "church" in the Lisa McPherson case—was the individual selected to bestow this high honor on Judge Greer! Wally cited high ideals, personal character, and judicial competence:

"Yet, in the teeth of all that, he has steadfastly demonstrated exactly what the John U. Bird award was created to honor: high ideals, personal character, judicial competence and service," lawyer Wally Pope said before bestowing the honor.

(Quote source: Lawyers laud judge in Schiavo case) [bold emphasis added]

The "judicial competence" that Judge Greer has exhibited in his handling of the Terri Schiavo case is clearly the kind that ignores evidence and even Florida statutes in order to uphold Scientology doctrine—which requires the deletion of "social contagions" (the disabled) from society. It is no coincidence that a Scientology attorney—who was a lead attorney in the Lisa McPherson case—personally bestowed this award to Judge Greer. Greer's decisions to consistently rule in favor of terminating a disabled person do reflect high ideals—in the sight of Scientology.

I have found no proof of the life insurance policy either. If anyone has it from a credible source please post.

Unbelieveable! I had no idea that this group had taken over in that area. I am stunned as a matter of fact. Thank you for posting that information -- first time I had read that about Greer. AARP doesn't want Social Security changed to benefit younger workers but they are willing to stand by and have people starved? Something is wrong with this picture!

I did hear there was some emotional abuse in this marriage by "husband", and if there was an eating disorder, it was a result of that. There are a lot of rumors out there and, hopefully, one day we will hear the truth. I wonder why no one other than her immediate family is speaking for her. Where are her friends, not his, but hers?

I don't know why you get that feeling... I suppose people who have a different take then the majority of opinions on these threads should just sit in the corner and shut up ?

Is this thread going to win for the most dis-information, rumor, speculation and outright ignorance?
