FYI:
Disabled Woman's Family, Former Nurses Seek Inquiry (A timely reminder about the "loving" husband)
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1367202/posts
Supporters of a disabled Florida woman embroiled in a euthanasia battle with her husband called Wednesday for a criminal investigation into the husband's alleged abuse of his incapacitated wife.
The request comes just days after three of Terri Schindler Schiavo's former caregivers submitted sworn affidavits detailing a years-long history of denied medical care, altered or destroyed medical records, and alleged attempts by Michael Schiavo to kill his wife.
There is no way the judge will rule any other way than in Terri's favor because of the pressure placed on him by Congress and our President.
Amen!
Lord Jesus, hear our prayers, and may You receive all the glory!
What if we stopped feeding Saddam?

I am struggling with the issue of withholding nourishment, because my mother is in the end stages of Alzheimer's, and a decision regarding her nutrition may have to be made at some point in the future.
While I am not a Roman Catholic, I frequently look to them for information on moral isues. I do not believe that we humans should make up our own rules as we go along, based on our personal desires and worldly preferences.
So when searching the web for information on the morality of what is happening here with Terri, I found this, and thought that some of you might find it helpful in how to think about what is right here.

I wish that were the case, however, it seems they believe they are God himself.
If the HINO had stood by Terri, who knows how she could have improved! IF, he were a loving husband. Rather, the marriage was difficult and Michael was obviously controlling! Look at him now, control freak! He probably pushed Terri into the eating disorder (think Charles and Di).
What we need is a woman that Michael cheated on during his marriage to Terri to come out....
Still, it's important to contact him in a nice, polite way. See #12 for contact info.
Good analysis....I hope you are wrong, too.
Lunch break. He can't think on an empty stomach.
The people that receive money to treat this woman in such are way are called "accomplices." Can you imagine being told to treat anyone this way and then cashing a paycheck on Friday?
I was wondering about that. Because if he broke his marriage vow before she was hospitalized, he certainly has no business being her guardian.
I'd also subpoeana the "girlfriend", her family and friends, to find out under oath what he has told any of them, and what the "girlfriend" has told any of them.
So there is money involves....a $300,000 life insurance policy. Him turning down the mil is no suprise, he knows he would be a pariah
Who has been paying for the hospice care all these years?
IMHO, which I hope is wrong, the judge will use this hearing to create a record and soundbites that will play everywhere tonight to justify the denial of relief.
What would he be indicted or impeached for? Making
a ruling?
Murderer!
I'm also sorry to say this, but Congress screwed this up when, acting in an emergency, they failed to do more than buck this to a federal court. They should have ordered her life preserved in the interim. I wouldn't fault a federal judge for their ultimate decision, but in light of how this came to the federal court by emergency action of Congress, I think the scheduling of a 3 PM hearing is outrageous.
How did this case land in his court?
