Both--the case has been refused by the USSC, and they've been ruled against by the Florida supremes.

"He will let her die while he does a leisurely review of the evidence, break for lunch, play with his grandchildren, maybe take in a movie to break the stress."

Considering the fact he is a Clinton appointee, he would also be headed to the day spa for a mudbath and manicure and also taking a little "me-time" to watch Ellen on Oh!.

But there are just so many hours in a day, looks like design to me, slowing the process down by the judge assuring her death.

We live in a sick world don't we.

And this ruling respects Terri's wishes.

What if her husband is lying?

It would have been unconstitutional for him to rule otherwise.

Trusting you're a legal scholar, perhaps you can explain this in a sentence or two.

Are you surprised your non-Clintonista president and governor haven't granted a stay of execution?

Yes, because isn't it every King's President's right to interfere in the lives of his citizens and block their preferences?

Another victory for the pro-death liberals. And Clinton's legacy continues on. How sad.

Yes, I know the USSC has refused to hear the case. The Schindlers legal options are quickly closing.

I have noticed that W and Jeb are trying 'within the law' to save her.

It is clear that Jeb Bush has acted in the past only to be overruled by the Florida Supreme Court.

George Bush did cut staying at his ranch short to come back to Washington to sign the bill.

That is a lot different than the baby killers Bill and Hillary who enjoyed immense support of Planned Parenthood and NARAL, and fought any attempt to ban Partial Birth Abortion tooth and nail.

I had doubts early on about Whittemore since he was a Clinton appointee.

I doubt the 11th Circuit Appeals Court in Atlanta will not wait over 26 hours to make a ruling on the Schindlers appeal this morning.

You know I don't know if talking about the Clintons and DU is really the issue here.

You must remember republican judge Greer is the one who has let this go on. And democrats voted for the law to protect her.

I think the partisan political stuff does nothing to help Terri at this point and only distracts us.

Just my opinion.

The Judge will decide on that later

But since this is now de novo (or however you put it), couldn't the SCOTUS hear it now?

The critical issue is how long has she been without water - dehydration will kill her faster than starvation.
