Yes...that struck me also. A native American with a German or German-Jewish name. Also, you might be thinking of Weiss which means "white" in German and is a common German-Jewish name.

Libertarian National Socialist Green Party = Extreme Left Liberals (Nazis).
The left's mantra of calling Conservatives Nazis has officially ended today.
True Nazis hid who they really were (for a while) and so have Liberals.

Yes...interesting point. The article mentioned that his grandfather had been a law enforcement officer with the reservation for years. Perhaps the police connection doomed grandpa.
