Amazing how the article didn't somehow blame George Bush, Dick Cheney, or Don Rumsfield for this incident.

[Death by natural causes. You short 44,000 volts with your fat butt, you're naturally gonna die.]

Does anyone here know the number of amps (current) that flowed through this poor unfortunate chap.

Holy crap, does that look dangerous. It looks like there might even be some asbestos wrapping in there.

Couldn't they just install one of those turkey pop up timers?

Autopsy? What does the examiner use, a steak knife? Good grief, why waste the $ when it's clear what killed him?

If he had lived, would they try him in a circuit court?

"Man electrocted ... "

If I remember correctly, this was probably that 'mistaken appointment' President Bush was talking about a few months ago.

But I'm sure President Bush meant electrActed.

Once the breakdown resistance, of skin, was exceeded, probably a few hundred. BTW, it takes about 50milliamps through the chest to kill a person.

Sadly, this is very near the trailer park I stay at when I am in the Auburn area. This guy could sell the copper wire at the local flea market, (Or maybe he was the one selling it?) Too bad people have to pay such a high price for locating and harvesting such a commodity, but I guess the price of copper is always going up. They use a lot of delta wiring now, so there is no neutral wire. Bummer.
