I understand the sentiment, but this isn't the season to fall victim to defeatism.

It's a season of Hope. Resurrected Life. Victory over Death. Could be a chance for renewal, IF people are willing to keep fighting long after the MSM abandons coverage.

I understand how you feel.... but as I was pondering my own anger and hurt with this situation, something occurred to me. Terri Shiavo hasn't had this happen to her without being noticed by the whole world.

I believe we each have been put here for a purpose. None of us will die without leaving a mark upon another's life, heart or community. What a witness Terri's been..... to open the eyes of apathy we've somehow sunken into as a nation!

As she goes to God... her presence has awakened something in the rest of us! Her death will not have been in vain.

This country is still great! These evildoers Felos, Greer and Schiavo do not represent America they are only weeds among the amber waves of grain. America is filled with good people like you and they are unhappy, most of the ones that are indifferent are only that way because they have been denied the full facts of the case. This whole sad affair is a shot across the bow from the last gasps of the old media’s dying era. The battle is far over it has only just started. God has not departed and the fact that so many have commented positively and even cared enough to follow the case is evidence of such. There is no telling what is going to come from all of the prayers for Terri. I well know the power of prayer and something tells me were in for something big. This story isn’t over we need to keep it going until justice is served so I am going to keep praying and I hope everyone else continues also.

Darkness has been coming over America for a long time coming. God, in his sovereignty, has chosen to spare us up to this point.

Look, there are countries far more evil than America. America has so much more "right" about it. However, so did Old Testament Israel. God still put them in slavery for hundreds of years more than once. To whom much is given, much is expected. Other evil 3rd world countries who kill their unborn children or even the mentally handicapped are almost expected to perform such barbaric acts, but a country where you can hear the Gospel within a few miles from anywhere, the poorest among us have cars and televisions, we eat to fill out our tastes not just our stomachs, and we elect whomever we want to positions of authority, among other things, we will be judged more strictly. God will not put up with our evil acts with all the blessings he has given us. Our blessings in such a situation are just curses for us. They will seal our judgment as a nation.

Pray God has more patience with us, and merciful pity too.
