There's no hope now for Terri Schiavo, not unless one of the worms turn.
Just who all the worms are is not yet clear. Michael Schiavo, the errant husband, has never been this close to sending Terri into eternity. His behavior in this drama has been worm-like.
Or maybe the judges are the worms. The justices of the Florida and federal courts, who ordinarily revel in their ability to make up laws when they can't find one in the law books to suit their purposes of the moment, have decreed that there's no legal way to save Terri from the death by starvation and dehydration that convicted serial killers, murderers of children and others on death row would be spared.

He's already taken all the $'s . . . why didn't he just divorce Terri and marry his enamorata a decade ago? There must be something in it for him but I don't get it.

Dont really know that much about this case, but if somebody is being artificially kept in life for decades madness have to end. Just think about the scenario of having millions artificially kept alive. Its time to be reasonable.
He says nothing..!..Thats its all about Teri and her wishes. If he gets his wish and a cremation immediately following her death, we will never know all the story.

This editorial slanders the reputation of decent, hardworking worms everywhere.
I suspect it's bad blood betweem MS and Terri's father...it's not been about the money...it's been about control and possibly Michael convincing himself this is the right thing, but mostly about control.
Maybe he is getting her absolute quiet for something that he has done.
If Terri was ever rehabilitated to the point where she could communicate well, she could tell everyone how Michael tried to kill her or at least beat her and tried to strangle her that fatal night and our man "Michael" would be looking at a whole different life style than the one he has planned!!!
Speculation is that he may have been involved in causing her condition and wants nothing more than to have the evidence burned. Considering that he rejected $1 million to turn over custody to her parents, and that there is no corroborating evidence that he has any of his claimed interest in following Terri's wishes, it's hard to come to any other conclusion about his motives.
I wonder if the next legal battle is going to be over an autopsy. If I were the Schindlers, I'd give it a try.
When someone (Michael) refuses to let his comotose wife receive antibiotics for an infection years ago, I really have to wonder what his agenda is.

Oh don't you know, he won't divorce her because he made a commitment to her! What a laugh. Two seconds after she is dead he will probably marry this other woman who he fathered 2 children with. I hope she is safe but if she ends up comatose following a "heart attack" maybe then the authorities and the media will think there is something fishy going on.
