After going more than eight days without food and water, starving Terri Schiavo looks "beautiful," the attorney for her husband, who appears to have won the battle to force her death, told reporters on Saturday.
"She looked beautiful," attorney George Felos said, emerging from a visit to her room. He claimed that Terri was "resting comfortably."
"In all the years I've seen Mrs. Schiavo, I have never seen such a look of peace and beauty upon her," he insisted. Felos's comments were sharply at odds with accounts from her family and their lawyers, who say her eyes are sunken, her skin is flaking and that she's bleeding from the eyes and mouth.
"It's like someone who is coming out of a bunker in Auschwitz," Terri's sister, Suzanne Vitadamo, told reporters Saturday.
"This is heinous what's happening, absolutely heinous - this is absolutely barbaric," her brother Bobby Schindler complained. "If she is in fact dying so peacefully and easily, why not allow a camera in there to videotape it?" he said.
Further belying Mr. Felos' claims that Terri is "resting comfortably," lawyers for her family say nurses have begun to administer morphine to ease the intense pain.
Felos is absolutely NUTS. He has a morbid and sick fascination with DEATH. May his feeding tube be pulled and may he suffer the same gruesome death he FORCED upon Terri.
If this ghoul thinks starving someone to death makes them beautiful then he should spend a few years in the southern portion of the Sudan...it'd be a great experience for him to be around all the people beautifully dying of starvation.
Which means to him there is a particular beauty in starving another person to death

Okay, maybe I'm dense, so help me out here.
Did Greer not receive a record level of campaign contributions, with a lot of the campaign cash coming from members of the Pinellas GOP establishment?
Did Greer not produce advertisements which would lead a viewer to believe that he was supported by the various government personnel appearing therein?
Is it not, in fact, illegal for government personnel to appear in campaign ads in the manner they did?
Would not running against an opponent who was so well supported by the party establishment be a futile gesture no matter how much better one was as an actual candidate?
In what way, then, is the election more than a token gesture toward "democracy", given that the establishment had given its candidate an unbeatable advantage before the first ballot was even cast?

She will be smiling soon in the arms of an infinitely loving God, who has set a great banquet of food and drink to welcome her home.

Further thought: They are giving her the morphine by nebulizing it into a vapor from what I understand, since she doesn't have an IV. Thank God she doesn't have to feel injections, but it does mean that she is being gassed to death in addition to the starvation.
It's not the money. Normally it would be, but not this guy. He gets ecstatic at the thought of his ability to get the courts to kill people. The money is just icing. It allows him to continue trying to kill people.
Felos will now be able to draw pictures on toilet paper with his own poop, and the NYT will rocket it to the top of the best seller list.

How would Hospice know she had cramps if she didn't tell them?
According to one of her caretakers, she said "pai, pai" when she had cramps. She just couldn't use the "n" sound very well.
I believe she did try to say she wanted to live, but they had to shut her up, and fast!
Felos was trying to put spin on the situation. He was using lawyer to the jury trickery. It does not matter how absurd, he was doing this to give his hemlock society buddies cover for the horrific act they are doing.
Judge whitmore did not want to call it murder because Judge Greer sanction the murder.
In their care was a gravely disabled female, who was not terminally ill, for whom they began depriving of food and water.
At some point it became apparent that she was terminal because the starvation and dehydration was killing her.
So when she officially became "terminal," they began to administer morphine to her to help her die faster.
America, watta country!
