Part 7 - EASTER SUNDAY -NO FOOD OR WATER 10-11TH DAYS- SHE'S FIGHTING TO LIVE [Schiavo]
Continuing thread ^ | 03/27/05 | various

After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.

Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.

Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.

The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.

Yes, while there are a lot of documents there, it's just a tip of the iceberg. No wonder Michael wants Terri killed immediately, if she dies (I'm still hoping for a miracle.)

I feel that a jury would easily convict him if the evidence wasn't surpressed.

I copied this one:

Some Background Information on Michael Schiavo: Most people, particularly Terri, were easily intimidated because of Michael’s size (6' 6", nearly 250 lbs.). It has been documented that Michael had rages of anger and would use his physical stature to bully people, and as indicated in their attached personal experiences and affidavits, it was mostly women that were the subject of Michael’s episodes of anger.

In the early 1990’s, Michael Schiavo’s treating psychiatrist, Dr. Peter Kaplan, stated in a phone conversation with Terri’s father, in regards to a violent episode occurring between Michael and Terri’s younger sister Suzanne, that Michael was potentially dangerous and should a situation re occur, to call the police.
In a deposition from November 1992, that Michael admitted Dr. Kaplan prescribed Welbutron, Paneior, Elavil and Prozac medication to treat his condition.

Additionally, contrary to everything Michael admittedly learned in his CPR training, he did not turn Terri over and clear her airway the night that she collapsed. His CPR training could have re-started her heart.

I agree, Precious One. :):)

These are the times, those of old spoke of. The times, when we as Christians may have to literally die for what we believe in.

We never knew how dangerous America was, did we? Sadly, I fought believing all those things that pointed to truth in the past. Perhaps it is not too late to STOP THIS TIDE OF EVIL FROM TAKING OVER OUR COUNTRY, - WHICH WE LOVE SO MUCH!!

God Bless America.
Stand Beside Her and Guide Her
With a Light from Above... and so forth.

I wish we all could sing that song together.

I love all of you who support Terri and I love our country. Those who seek to destroy this country, are not of this country.

George Soros is behind lots of this horrible Euthanasia stuff. He was born in Hungry and is probably NOT EVEN A CITIZEN OF THIS COUNTRY.

The Nazis who shoveled the Jews into the blazing ovens were only obeying orders too, and I do believe that we hunted them down and put them into prison.

Oh, we did better than that.

Sorry, but George and Jeb are our nations Judas and Ceasar! They have betrayed Terri by not helping her! They have washed their hands of Terri when they know they could have done something! Wake up America, the leaders we thought we had in the BUSH's is a bunch of crap! They care only for the poll numbers! It will be bad for them this week, but it will be to late for Terri!

I feel the need to suggest again that we ALL find and copy all the information/evidence we can......... I have a feeling 'premonition' that a LOT of this information that is so redily available right now will very quickly begin to dissappear very soon.

This is so sadly true. Your little sign makes me want to cry. You always know how to get to the meat of an issue.

"Then, it is only necessary for some secret edict to order that the method developed for the mentally ill should be extended to other 'unproductive' people, that it should be applied to those suffering from incurable lung disease, to the elderly who are frail or invalids, to the severely disabled soldiers.

Then none of our lives will be safe any more.

Some commission can put us on the list of the 'unproductive,' who in their opinion have become worthless life.

And no police force will protect us and no court will investigate our murder and give the murderer the punishment he deserves.."

If Clinton and Reno could go in and "rescue" Elian Gonzales and ship him back to Cuba

What MOST everyone FORGETS is that they sent in the FEDS to take ELIAN AGAINST a COURT ORDER remanding custody to Elian's relatives in FLORIDA!!!

The Terri Shaivo case is to EUTHANASIA what ROE was to abortion. The CAUSE NOW has a FACE and A NAME and I pray to GOD that it fails where ROE succeeded!!

Jeb Bush signed and executive order in 2003, to reinsert Terri's feeding tube, and it was struck down by the courts, as unconstitutional. He can't go and do the same thing again.

That's right, he can't do it again.

Question: Could the Florida legislature, at that time, have written an amendment to the statute, voiding the section that allows Terri to die without a signed Living Will? In other words, hearsay testimony would be invalid. AND retroactive!

If the refusal to allow the family to take on the responsibility for caring for Terri doesn't shock people's consciences, it's arguable whether they have one...

I think they could have and should have, but didn't.

"I've been thinking about all the Jeb bashing going on the last couple of days. I to have felt like equating his lack of action with Pilate's treatment of Christ. However, IF he would have "laid it on the table" so to speak, and had gone in there to get Terri with force, how do you all think that would have played out? I mean, wouldn't there have been a strong possibility of a firefight between LEOs? Anyhow, would like to hear others thoughts on this."

I don't know how things would have turned out, but I think that Jeb knows things we don't know, and I think he made a very difficult decision to save the lives of many versus the life of one.

I think the fact that Jeb didn't act shows us how corrupt the system is that the police, etc. that he should've been able to use to take Terri into custody weren't available to him.

But I don't think it is evidence that Jeb is corrupt or a coward.

After all, it is because of Jeb that her family had Terri these last two years.

I agree. We now know that murder is legal in this country, because our leaders are letting it happen, even the Conservative ones! May God have mercy on us all!

Jeb is a coward and could have done a hell of a lot more for Terri than he did! Wake up, our leaders have betrayed us!
