I don't think there is anything wrong with asking the police about whether they've considered quitting or calling in sick. Didn't Hitler's mass extermination start by people who were "just following orders"?

IMHO you go ahead and post a vanity on this anytime you want. Thank you so much for that report. You certainly did enable me to feel the atmosphere there.

What amazes me is that the media keeps saying that there is little support in America for Terri, yet they have covered the story night and day, obviously aware that Terri supporters must represent a major percent of their audience. It is, however, a shame that more could not be there. Including myself.

Thank you and your husband for your contributions - spiritually, physically and financially. God Bless you good people.

Yes.

And the cock-of-the-walk-Americans either put them in jail or hung them.

Now the cock-of-the-walk-Americans are starving people to death and putting those who attempt to bring relief in jail.

Ironic, yes?

Of course, many in Europe would think it's Poetic Justice.

No. Hitler gave the parents a choice. He told the parents the state would help them with their "burden". It's kind of like how people today shove their aging parents and relatives in state homes. Same difference. People are happy to unload their parents and other "loved" ones in state homes.

So, like people then, people today are more than happy to be relieved of their "burden" courtesy of the state. If you believe a "loved" one in a state home is properly cared for, you're naive. The same is true of state run institutions for the mentally ill but NO ONE complains about that either.
