Jesse has more courage than George or Jeb Bush?????,/I>

Sure. Once he understands that he will suffer no political harm. I'm sure the same processes were in play when he dipped his hands into King's blood and wiped it onto his shirt, knowing that the cameras would be coming.

"so why is Jesse going?"

Jesse is an OPPORTUNIST, as much as a racist. If advocating for Martians was lucrative, he'd love flying saucers....

OTOH, he has GOT to be aware that his clout and tactics are waning...

And on the unlikely THIRD hand, maybe, just maybe, the "Rev." is finally making an attempt to listen to God rather than mammon. Naaaaaaah. But I'd wish that were the case....

I don't think JJ knew how he felt about this until the media showed up down there.

BUT in this case--his heart is in the right place

His butt may be in the "right" place, but that doesn't mean he is doing it for the right reasons. Maybe he just wants the publicity. We can only speculate about what is really going on in old Jesse's "heart."

Which family, the husband or the parents?

Seems the husband had the only right to admit guests and I think he is setting up himself for a speaking tour as an activist with a book deal in the millions no doubt!

Trust me; Jesse Jackson called himself into this.

I don't think either side really wanted his support.

"Will hillery show up in the last minute???"

Oh, I predict ALL the big Dems will be out there tomorrow, on their knees, fresh with new religion, swayin, moanin' and prayin' for Terri, and, just as they DEMAND Governor Bush and Presidnet Bush do something for her, it will be announced that she has died. With tears in their eyes, they will lower their heads and say, "If only the Republicans had tried to help her..."

am not a Jackson fan (and he does seem to love to just get attention).

BUT in this case--his heart is in the right place--and since he has been advocating for the life of this poor helpless woman. He has been very vocal, speaking out on the behalf of T.S. and since most on the left are NOT pro-life--he has been taking some flack for this.

I have to agree with you. When one does right, for whatever reason, lets not knock it.

I was surprised when reading about Greer, that he is a Republican. I think this issue crosses party lines a little more than we think.
---

IMO it's not a partisan issue at all. It is an attempt to determine what Terry's intentions were. Evidence was brought in, the court weighed the case and decided. If Terry would not have wanted to have been left alive in this condition the Courts ruled correctly. If she would have wanted to be left alive they ruled incorrectly. I haven't seen all the evidence and I doubt our elected officials had either.

Actually, I'd rather our elected officials stick to partisan issue, such as reducing government etc... which is why we elected them.

What is in his heart? National health care. He said it on Scarborough Country tonight. He said this could have been prevented if we had national health care.
