I can't wait for the FR thread demanding that it be removed because it is an extreme measure to keep him alive.

So, you think they'll leave it in for 15 years?

It's a good thing he lives in a country where it's okay to keep people alive with feeding tubes.

This is too bizarre. I can't wait for the FR thread demanding that it be removed because it is an extreme measure to keep him alive. /sarcasm/

No, there are some "Good" Germans poster here, that if the "LAW" said so, they would demand it

my wish it that the elderly die in peace, something that we probably won't allow the Pope to do.....

if you listen to the endtimes prognosticators, they think the next Pope will be along the lines of the anti-Christ...so maybe the good Pope is holding on as long as he can.....

They're behind the curve. They haven't started a thread on this topic yet.

this IS Ironic

Can't agree more about the rain on your wedding day bit - unfortunate, yes. Ironic, no.

However this is not ironic either. It would be ironic if the Pope had been calling for the REMOVAL of Terri's tube.

What part of "Thou shalt not kill (murder)" doesn't Michael understand?

This is a strange twist. Think about who HIS guardian is! (Or should I say Guardian with a capital G?

Consider the implications...

Wouldn't matter, the Vatican City is a sovereign entity, much like our Indian reservations are.

Do you think Greer would let a minor technicality like that stand in his way?

I hope Cardinal Ratzinger never heard him say he did not want his life prolonged unnaturally.

It's time to start the pull who will call for the pope's demise first:
A. Catholics for a Free Chooice
B. Call to Action
C. FutureChurch
D. George Felos
E.Some European Cardinal.

Sorry but COME ON PEOPLE - IF God wanted to speak to us then he would let Terri live without food and water for another 10 days. I doubt we need God to put the Pope on a feeding tube in order to speak to us. ???? At least that is my opinion...not speaking for God :) lol

Holy Moses! This is no coincidence at all friend. I do believe the Lord is talking...and causing all Americans to give serious pause to what is happening to this dear soul (Terri).

There have been more than a few freepers who were calling for the Pope to step down because he is unable to perform his duties.

William Buckley, Jr. wrote an article stating just that fact and had the support of many here on FR.
