The French, who are so protective of their culture their government has an official department charged with keeping non-french words such as 'hamburger' out of the language, will wake up soon to the fact they must face the realities of demographics: there are many people they have allowed to live in France who have no desire to become French.
Further, many of these people have cultural and religious values that are openly hostile to France, and these people are reproducing at rates many times that at which the native French are.
If the French do not do something very soon, they will have lost France to people who will gladly impose an Islamic culture, a power-oriented culture that will not make the same mistake as it reshapes the nation.
This implies that the French must do something drastic, for their liberal democratic values force them to commit cultural suicide based on the relative rates of reproduction. The options are stark and conflict with a range of liberal values: the native French must start to have a lot more children, or they must deport large numbers of Muslim non-natives.
Retaking Europe since the Spanish expelled the Muslims over 500 years ago has long been the goal of Islam. Indeed, the Madrid train bombings were done in the name of reclaiming " Andalusia", the Moorish name for southern Spain.
This summarizes the history in Paris of the last 40 years, since the concept of "palestinians" was invented. Even in the mid sixties, when I first personally experienced Paris in depth, it was apparent that a cancer was growing.
By the mid-seventies, Parisians had abandoned their more modern shopping centers, monuments and cultural icons to the rabble, and stayed behind barred doors in their banlieue, bought dogs for protection, willingly blind to the inevitable.
I don't see expulsion as an option, France is farther along the slide to oblivion than the U.S. is, and will drop into the violence of a national pest eradication uncivil war. It would be educational to watch cosely and not repeat their mistake.
After that will come a loooooooooooooooong period of regrets that they had a civilized country and they threw it away with both hands as fast as they possibly could.

Call me crazy, but I'm convinced that anti-Semitism persists so strongly because it is a form of revolt against God. The Jews are the messengers who brought us God's blessings (and His standards). Killing the messengers is a way to get at the Source. I know it isn't rational, but that's the point. Rebellion against God and his ways is emotional and insane.
Anti-Semitic societies unravel because they are societies that, over time, foster chaos and the will to power above all else.

Yes, I read this article too. Thanks for posting it. It's really terrible what's happening in France and much of Europe. Whatever France cultural and social faults are, it's still a part of what's called "the West". "West" is a bit amorphous meaning, but the point is that France and much of Europe allowed themselves to buy into a false ideology of Multiculturalism rather then understanding and respecting their Cultural and Spiritual heritage rooted in the best of Christianity, Enlightment and Rennaisance and Greco-Roman political traditions. France failed to demand that all immigrants, including Muslims respect the best of French heritage and make a serious effort to integrate into French Society. Multiculturalism combined with blind anti-Americanism, anti Semitism, etc. causing France to implode.
I still hope that France will realize what's at stake, start seriously dealing with AntiSemitism and AntiAmericanism and begin agressively prosecuting and deporting all the Islamic Extremists. I hope also that France starts unequivocally demanding from the rest of Muslim immigrants that they must respect and integrate into French Society. You can't have "Multiculturalism" (euphemism for coexistence) and preserve Civilization. More agressive and primitive culture will always win unless more civilized culture decisively protects itself.
