How about not censoring posts which called for the Gov. to use all his powers, including the national guard?

How much damage did that do when such posts were censored weeks ago?

Jim, if you are serious about this issue, it's going to take more than legislation and the impeachment of judges.

It's going to take a Governor or a President who refuses to obey illicit orders, and it's going to take FR to stop censoring such talk.

Why are there so few elected people with the testicular fortitude to do MORE than talk and stand up to blatant injustice and these godless courts instead of bowing to them ???

A president or a governor that will truly represent the people of America who truly love America and do just that will do more than A MILLION MARCHES could accomplish.

The death ghouls started with the unborn, now it's the disabled......WHO is next ?

I really don't know what kind of judges the powers that be on FR would support at this point. The people on this board who throw their weight around have no problem with judges like Greer, etc...

This is such a hugely important message to get out there. I hope that everyone, who is able to, will attend this event.

Ping to judicial nomination ping list!

Please make plans to attend. At the very least, and if it is impossible for you to come to this, please contribute to the cost of the event.

Kay R. Daly has asked me to maintain and use this list started by her as she is running Coalition for a Fair Judiciary, and now battling to get judicial nominees a vote on the Senate floor.

Please ping me or FReepmail me to get on or off the list.

Don't be just a spectator, join the list and join the fight to get President Bush's nominees approved.

Ok, what's it going to take to get you to the point of total disgust with our judiciary?

How may bad rulings? How many rulings based on liberal Marxist ideology rather than the constitution? How many based on "International Law?" How many of our rights nullified by an out of control judiciary will it take? How many times will we allow the will of the people to be overruled by the judiciary? How many times will we allow our constitution to be subverted by the Men in Black?

Judicial tyranny must end! The filibuster must be broken! The full Senate must have an up or down vote on the president's judicial nominees! We must not allow the Democrat obstructionists the privilege of controlling the confirmation process!

No more liberal activists on the bench!

Enough is enough!!

We will be marching on Washington on April 7th to send a message to all three branches of government. We hope to have delegations from every state of the union present to meet their respective senators and hand deliver our letters, demands and petitions of grievance.

It's way past time to end the tyranny of the men and women in black robes! They are not empowered by the constitution to make law or dictate from the bench. This must end! .

Announcing Free Republic's MARCH for JUSTICE II, April 7, 2005, Washington, D.C.!!
Free Republic | March 15, 2005 | Kristinn, Jim Robinson

Posted on 03/15/2005 10:03:13 PM PST by Jim Robinson

In October 1998, Free Republic marched on Washington demanding the impeachment of Bill Clinton. Thanks to our efforts, Clinton was impeached less than two months later.

Then, as now, our country stood at a Constitutional crossroad. This year we stand at the crossroad of what kind of judiciary we will have: One that is restrained by the Constitution, or one that abridges our rights by making it up as they go along.

President Bush and the Republicans in the Senate are gearing up for a showdown with the Democrats over his judicial nominees. The Democrats have used the filibuster in an unprecedented way to block judicial nominees from getting an up or down vote. Republicans, led by Majority Leader Bill Frist are getting ready to employ the Constitutional option--most likely in mid-April.

A simple majority is needed to implement the Constitutional option. However, even with a 55 vote majority, a victory by the Republicans is in doubt. Democrats, unswayed by their ever-diminishing numbers in the Senate, have threatened to almost totally shut down the Senate if the Republicans succeed.

After the spectacle of JUDICIAL decisions in the Schiavo case, many people should be motivated to attend. I wouldn't miss it for the world!

I think it starts with us. No president or governor is going to do anything if it looks like there is no public support - and this is not because of cowardice, but simply because he would then be charged with imposing his own will. Unless we turn up and make our voices heard, nobody else is going to do it for us.
