Why, I wouldn't even be surprised if she were in charge that she wouldn't give water to a woman who was dying.
You're a poet and just don't know it. ;-)
I find it hard to believe that she is still alive, too. Today's the 14th day -- if God is trying to tell us something, it hasn't gotten through to the right people yet.

True, but criticizing H*****y is something that is as natural and healthful as breathing.
At some level the state must view this as a critically important milestone...enough such that it would choose, at this time, to take such a risk with its citizens and the Constitution. The state does'nt gamble so publically too often..in fact the last time was over 12 years ago at Waco where it escaped a slaughter of innocents without meaningful consequence. Every time the state has a "success" of this character, it increases the eventual effort that will be required to restrain its appetite.
One Freepers name has always said it best for me: LongsForReagan
You think her hubby ever wanted to do the "no food, no water" routine with her?
You're right...natural as breathing, isn't it?
I think He has -- gotten through to the RIGHT people.
To the WRONG people, He never could. And so maybe He is just sharing this information with the rest of us. Don't we all know a little more about each other through this?
You don't really know people except through the actual tests of life -- and death. The most deceptive, particularly tell good lies. Many of the liberals especially, like to tell us how caring and compassionate they are yet whenever a time comes to exhibit that, they're nowhere to be found.
Meanwhile, under these conditions of challenge and stress, you find and recognize those who do have an abiding faith and depth. That is the direction society will head -- because those are the steadfast, and not those swaying on whichever way they think the polls are leaning. We saw how even their polls became merely projections of what they wanted to hear -- to give them courage.
On the other hand, there were the countless many who only needed to look within to find that courage, that peace, that serenity. Terri Schindler's death was the stake through the heart of the mainstream media who didn't want people to care or even dwell much on it. They insisted that we should have moved on to their most pressing issue of the day -- which was the Michael Jackson story. When we did not follow where they led, their back was broken -- and now they're all giving away their flagship products to all the landfill sites in America.
He speaks -- but do we know how to listen?
The government should not kill people is the lesson that Schiavo teaches.
i love w. maybe he shuda broke whatever law ya/he thunk was there
i re-read it. was i on a roll? god bless terri.
Well .. it's difficult to say you are for the rule of law and then break the law on purpose.
I love W too - and I believe he did all he could do UNDER THE LAW.
Does the law need to be changed ..?? YES IT DOES. Until then President Bush will continue to obey the laws.
i want to know what law he would have broken by issuing a stay
You'll have to ask a lawyer - I have no idea.
