you think rule of law means obeying and enforcing the laws? LOL. Mel is dead on, this was a state sanction murder, if the rule of law meant anything we would enforce immigration laws too.

"if He takes her, I was kind of hoping He takes the Pope on the same day just to give her parents some comfort after the torture they've been through"
I haven't thought in those terms, however, Terri has been a wake up call about what we Americans have allowed to become PRECEDENT, and who it is that now can create the laws of the land through PRECEDENCE.

Actually, adultery is against the law in Florida. It is a misdemeanor.

(Grand Ayatollah George Greer (PBUH) has declared jihad against the disabled.)

I don't know the basis. I'm guessing it's because a third party cannot be used to disolve a marriag. OR it could be that saying it goes against Catholic teaching is a moot point... the law and religion not mixing well. But, to be honest, I can't explain it.

No "I do not think rule of law means obeying and enforcing the laws". It now means that any judge that so chooses can now usurp authority not given to them via the Constitution. Sadly we Americans, who are suppose to be the government went to sleep and allowed this mess long ago.

Thanks.
Whatever it is, it is a travesty of justice.

I dont think the constitution applies any longer in this country, unless you are charged with a crime. Convicted serial murderers get the basics(food, water, health care, exercise etc.) Where is this country headed, when a little elected Judge can over rule congress and the president?

Well I have not given up HOPE, however, one could say that the people in this county sure like their judge and have no problem with his decision making skills, or lack thereof. This should be the wake up call, time will tell how many are awake.

Read somewhere and it makes sense that now "rule of law" in the USA is not about protecting society, but rather a means of imposing a socialist agenda on society. I believe it, which is why I shake my head in disbief at all the "it the law Freeper" around here. Yes it's the law and it's the law "they" are going to use to either enslave you or kill you.

another Florida judge blows it...a 5 yr. old calls 911 after her parents are murdered in New Smyrna Beach. They had wanted a restraining order against their suspected murdered, it was denied...two more lives denied!

Mel made another excelent point, if Judges are so powerful then why did Judge Moore get blown away in nothing flat? When "they" want a judge gone, he's gone in a heartbeat. Greer is a decoy/fallguy.

The law in Florida states that food and hydration are extreme measures and can be witheld. The judge followed that law. The Floridians should get their state legislature to change that law... so that more people won't go through this.
