Comic book artist Alex Ross apparently painted this image, of President Bush as a vampire, sucking Lady Liberty dry, for the Village Voice back in 2004:
You hear conservatives complain fairly often, and liberals admit sometimes, that the left hates the President. This image seems to be one more example of that.
This image also shows how that hatred is preventing the left from forming any sort of meaningful message.
Portraying Bush as a vampire is roughly akin, both in lack of originality and lack insight, to painting devil horns on the man.
And they wonder why they got trounced in the election.
This bears an eerie resemblance to Axis propaganda during World War II.
the left is already introducing Axis programmes (such as euthanasia) so this is no surprise.
Heck, according to some on this forum, the picture is correct.
Liberty to do what? Practice abortion and eutanasia and sexual debauchery and attack Christianity? Damn, no wonder the Liberals hate him, the President wants to take away all of their God given rights!
"Liberty to do what? Practice abortion and eutanasia and sexual debauchery and attack Christianity?"
Yes, exactly.
Along with the help of the ACLU.
Please. All you have to do is look at the daily posting of "Todays Toons" by Pookie on this site to see cartoons that are equally bad or funny, depending on your viewpoint.
In fact, there is one today that has Pelosi, Reid and Boxer(?) Hillary(?) as vampires out to get Tom Delay.
And God knows, Hillary gets a lot of hate cartoons from conservative cartoonists.
So lets not get morally indignant about something we also do all the time.
Actually the original may have been in the NY Post, where Il Supremo, Gov. Mario Cuomo, was dressed as Dracula, ravishing and sucking the blood from Lady Liberty. I believe the caption was "The Vampire State". Liberals are just engaging in "monkey see, monkey do." It is the liberals and their jihadist fiends who suck!
O come on. We've been known to treat Hilary somewhat rudely.
