I thought the Bergler was just sloppy. You know, we all stick highly classified documents down our socks to remember them and then carelessly forget them. I have. And you have, too of course, right?

I had a VRWC decrypt message in my sock just the other day. I forgot about it. I mean, we tote so many around. Oh yeah. Everyone forget I wrote that. Mum's the word. You can count on me....

"He indicated that the removal was inadvertent and, while he returned the two remaining copies of the report to the archive, he said nothing about the three copies he had destroyed, the associate said."

I can understand the destroyed documents. Those were the ones in his socks.

He is expected to enter his plea Friday afternoon in Federal District Court here, capping an embarrassing episode that reverberated in last year's presidential campaign.

Don'tcha just wish they would truthfully add: "throwing doubt on the completeness of the conclusions drawn regarding the Clinton Administration's efforts leading up to the 911 attacks which were in the planning stages during that time..."

"...that he had inappropriately removed classified material from a secure reading room at the National Archives..."

...and Jesse James will be severely reprimanded, after "inappropriately removing" a gold shipment from that train. His access to strong boxes and railroad shipping schedules will be restricted for three years -- maybe.

"...has cooperated fully..."

...stealing and lying repeatedly and stonewalling endlessly.

    The farce continues...

"What Republican is wearing an orange jumpsuit for the rest of his life? Nixon?"

What criminal offense was Richard Nixon convicted of?

"Never heard of anyone getting that kind of punishment for a misdemeanor."

Google this --

    misdemeanor "100,000 fine"

In most jurisdictions, misdeamors are punishable by a term of up to one year and fines that can range to considerable sums.

"...Sandy Berger and the National Archives gave us an example of what shouldn't and usually doesn't happen."

The story that hasn't been reported (and won't be) is that NA staff knowingly let Berger remove classified docs from the building and did so more than once. This is the power of the overwhelmingly liberal federal employees' union.

Another proof of the theory, that there is a privileged elite and there are us.

Sandy gave somebody up to the feds. Who could it be?

With Lanny Breuer as his lawyer, you can forget about it being either corrupt Clinton.

Right...big deal? That's just the limits of the punishment. As I said, I've never heard of anyone getting sentenced that harshly for a misdemeanor.

And from what has been reported today, neither will Sandy Burgler...$10,000 fine, no jail and a "loss" of his security clearence for three years. Whoopie!

So Sandystuffedsocks gets a slap on the wrist and Halderman, Colson, et al, go to jail.

No wonder the leftists desperately want to keep control of the courts.

What criminal offense was Richard Nixon convicted of?

They did not even get a plea bargain conviction, just a negotiated resignation followed by a presidential pardon to avoid a trial. I'm sure you are outraged he did no hard time ...

You don't think Nixon did anything wrong because he was a Republican President.
