Greer, Felos, and Michael Schiavo will look over their shoulders for the rest of their lives waiting for karma. Unfortunately, Greer will do it with taxpayer-provided security unless he is removed from office. Not advocating violence, just noting that there are alot of friends and family members of Terri who would have motive, means, and opportunity to extract revenge. Doubt there would be a jury who would convict them for it either.

Re # 1

I believe the horrific facts of this murder will not fade away from the thoughts of rational people, religious or not.

The long range impact will hopefully be to make some positive changes to the entire legal system which, since WWII, is the primary reason our common hereitage is being destroyed.

Where are the feminists who are forever whining about abusive husbands?

This group has zero credibility, not any, none.

A question for you, please. A member of the Florida Judiciary Committee (can't remember his name) said on T.V. that he has received many e-mails calling for the impeachment of "Judge" Greer. Can Greer be impeached? How would a probate judge be removed from office? I think I read where he was elected.

You're right. Too many facts about this case are out in the public this time. It took years for the public to learn that Roe v. Wade was based on a lie-- there was no rape..even now, the majority of the public don't know that "Jane Roe" has recanted her testimony and is working hard to overturn the travesty associated with her name.

This time, we know the real person,we know her name, Terri's family has touched us with their pleas. We will never forget a mother, father, brother & sister begging to give their little girl a sip of water while being forced to watch her die of thirst.

Judge Greer's own pastor recently felt compelled to write, "It would seem the logical and, I would say, Biblical course" for Judge Greer to withdraw from the congregation, and he did.

Would that grim Greer had followed logic and the Bible in other areas of his life.

Terry is a martyr to our tyrannical judiciary. We MUST do something before you or I might be the next one to be killed by these dictators!

Ann Coulter said it best: "No wonder the Southern Baptist Church threw Greer out: Only one god per church!"

Why did the people of Pinellas County reelect this person with questionable ethics last year? They knew what they were getting and voted on this loser anyway.

Terry is a MARTYR, period. By the criteria of the Roman Catholic Church, she may be a candidate for Canonization (sainthood)

1. She died a Catholic, a daughter of the Church.

2. A miracle preceded her death: She lived FOURTEEN days without food or water; that is unheard of.

3. She was tortured to death, much as St. Agnes, among others

4. She died not for all of our sins as our Savior did, but to save mankind from one particular sin, the sin of callousness, of cruelty.

There are probably Judge Greers in every county in the United States. Had the Schindlers not fought and the case not been publicized by conservative talk ratio and the Internet, Terri Schiavo would have died unknown and virtually unlamented. There no doubt have been many unjust deaths where the judge permitted terminating life, where the judge and the attorney have had business ties or the judge has ties to the medical industry.

Electing more Republicans is not the solution. Greer is a Republican. A radical overhaul of state and Federal judiciaries is necessary. The legislative and executive branches of government should become involved when a judge's decision will cause the termination of a human life. The same consideration is given to those sentenced to capital punishment, as governors have the power to commute death sentences in most states. Furthermore, the power of judicial review of legislation must be subject to override by the legislatures and Congress. All judges must be subject to term limits of six years, with the judge barred from serving in a judicial role for a minimum of six years. The U.S. Constitution must be amended to require popular election of judges, either nationwide for the Supreme Court or within the district or circuit where the justice will preside. Another amendment would prohibit any Federal judge from interpreting the U.S. Constitution on any basis other than original intent, on pain of impeachment.

Judicial tyranny must end.

I almost forgot. Another miracle. Since her illness, she lived for FIFTEEN years without sin! Who among us can claim that? One of the many tragedies of the present Popes illness is that it may be quite some time before Terris sainthood can be considered. No matter. She is in eternity now, and has all the time in the world.
