The disappointment and shock of it has absolutely KILLED our PAPA! That's right, they've killed the POPE too.

Yet Felos maintains that witholding nutrients and liquids isn't starvation.

Felos must demonstrate the concept personally. I'd pay good money to watch.

Oh, well, hear him talk! I'd like to see him try it for two or three weeks, then come back and preach to us all about how easy it is, the felonious death-monger.

The Holy See had the opportunity a few weeks ago to name her a Vatican envoy. She would have had diplomatic immunity, and they couldn't do her harm.

" ........a homicide, in face of which one cannot be indifferent without becoming an accomplice."

True words there. I have been so shocked, and shaken to my core, that MY country was capable of doing this terrible thing. But what has disillusioned me, more even than the fact that my country murdered this innocent woman, is the INDIFFERENCE of so many as to what was happening. So many people could not be troubled to take a few minutes to CARE.

I agree, she was murdered. The Catholic Church gets it right this time...

My favorite observation was that when Teri was dying, she was surrounded by flowers that were well watered. She is in a room full of flowers getting water, and dying because her own family is being prevented from giving her any water.

When I hear the arguments of Felos and his Ilk, the word sophistry comes to mind.

Agreed. From beginning to end, there isn't a thing about this case that wasn't troubling.

Can we really call it homicide if those were her wishes? I cannot decide how I feel about this. What if she really did not want to live that way? Shouldn't she have been allowed to die if she wanted to? Wouldn't you want people to honor your wishes? The whole situation greatly saddens me, but will we ever know the real story?

Cardinal Renato Martino, president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, described Terri Schiavo's death as a "homicide"..., "in face of which one cannot be indifferent without becoming an accomplice."

Congress, are you people reading the words of the Cardinal. Even though none of you on the Hill would constructively intervene to save Terri's life, the least you can do is prosecute her killers, which among others include Greer, Felos and the hit man for hire, ex-'husband'.

(Greer) 'But I am a Florida judge, it was all legal!!'
