so instead, lets put our faith in the judiciary - the most unaccountable and liberal branch of government. because that the choice here, people here who say "no patriot act" are simply willing to cede those same powers to the judiciary via court order. can we trust the courts? no way. I'll take my chances with the executive branch in the domestic war on terror.

If you'll remember, it was the executive branch in Germany that went postal. Please don't think the executive branch is your savior. You're just one Hillary away from certain doom if you do.

Allowing law enforcement to creat it's own warrants, or do without them altogether is a terrible idea.

The executive is made up of unaccountable, unelected bureaucrats illegally writing law. We don't need more of that BS.

A bureaucracy issuing decrees is one of the chief characteristics of a dictatorship.

In this case, what are the courts doing wrong? They are, properly, asserting their authority over searches. Do you object to that? Do you think previous violations of court authority over searches makes it permissible now?
