It doesn't matter if it was fake, if Democrats say it was accurate that makes it "fake but accurate" and therefore Republicans are evil and should be removed from office - if not by the voters than by the judges. Nobody knows where the memo came from and they have backed off the story.

Finally this is getting some major attention. It looks like this one is not going to be swept under the carpet after all. Lautenberg wants an investigation, by all means give him one. Everything I have read about it makes clear it was a particularly inept forgery. Interesting that Dingy Harry wouldn't talk to the Times, seeing as informed speculation says it likely came from his dirty tricks shop.

Saw that Republicans in the Senate are backing off on the plan to put Bush judicial nominees to a vote because of the backlash on this Schiavo issue(on FOX special report Britt Hume). Of course spineless Republicans would never have the guts to go to the press with the memos from special interset groups to democratic Senators(now published in Mark Levin's book 'Men in Black') that direct them to hold up certain judges until certain cases are over.

Once again, Republicans play nice(at our expense) while Harry Reid, Ted Kennedy and Chuck Schumer go in for the kill. Do we win the election???
