Howdy there Joesnuffy. This is a bit off topic but recently I watched a Jews for Jesus video of Concentration Camp SURVIVOR STORIES. It was pretty well done and had an amazing anecdote about one Jewish woman who had an encounter with Dr. Josef Mengele. After insulting her by saying "good" about her baby's death, he brought her a bottle of vitamins the next day to help her survive. A strange act from this most wicked of men. All of these survivors later became followers of Christ.

When I lived in El Salvador, I worked for a very brave man who had a most typical last name for a Jew. He had grown up poor among mostly well-to-do Jews in San Francisco. He was not in Jews for Jesus but he was a believer in Christ.

Jay is a tremendous voice for freedom of speech, and a very nice man. He's fought many battles in the USSC and won most of them. He's an expert on Constitutional Law, and he makes the ACLU nervous when they know they're going up against him.

It's amazing that he was using his intellect to prove his Christian friends wrong about Jesus, when he proved to himself that they were right.

That said, this was one of the best lines in his Testimony: "If you get kicked out of your home tonight, you can stay with us."

Christians believe in One G-d, as do Jews and Muslims. We believe that He is one in essence.

We believe in the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob--the Suffering Servant who was spoken of in Isaiah 53 and the one who is coming as Judge. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness for sin and Jesus shed his blood once - for all.

Jesus is Jewish, the disciples were Jewish and most of the Bible was written by Jews. Thank you for bringing the Light of the world - including us Gentiles.

They are all good Christians, but believe that Mohammed was the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and all other Christians need to accept Mohammed's teachings, or burn for an eternity in Hell. I agree that the line about proseletyzing barf alert was pretty rough.

But look at it this way. If Judaism was a proseletyzing religion, which it's not, there would be evangelical Jews saving Christain souls by converting them to the "true faith" of Judaism. I can imagine that a thread celebrating a Christian who had seen the light and become Jewish might upset a few of the evangelical Christians on this forum.

But I admit, I can't see into the mind of the guy, I'm just saying that his reaction is something that would be understandable for many Jews, rather than an indication of hatred toward Christianity.

I would rather live my life believing Jesus Christ is my Savior, than to live my life doubting He was, and die to find out Jesus IS the Son of the Lord God Jehovah, and was the only way into Heaven.

You should accept Jesus as your Savior. If I'm wrong, you've lost nothing, but If I'm right, and you die without knowing Jesus Christ as your Savior, you will perish. It is not negotiable. Think about it!
