BOSTON, April 10 (AP) - Many voters in last year's election were denied access to the polls through trickery and intimidation, Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts told a voters' group on Sunday.
"Last year, too many people were denied their right to vote; too many who tried to vote were intimidated," Mr. Kerry said at an event sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts.
He cited examples of trickery. "Leaflets are handed out saying Democrats vote on Wednesday, Republicans vote on Tuesday," Mr. Kerry said. "People are told in telephone calls that if you've ever had a parking ticket, you're not allowed to vote."
Mr. Kerry, the Democratic presidential nominee, has never disputed the outcome of the election, saying voting irregularities did not involve enough votes to change the result.
The Republican National Committee dismissed Mr. Kerry's comments. "While President Bush and members of Congress are working to move our country forward, it's disappointing that some Democrats are focused on rehashing baseless allegations more than five months after the election," said a committee spokeswoman, Tracey Schmitt.

Of course, at 4:00pm EST on election day, Lockhart and the other Democrat operatives were claiming "No Problems" with polling... when they thought they were winning...

psttt, John, if they are too stupid to know what day to vote on, they are probably too stupid to be voting anyway.

What a maroon! Based on this gas attack of baseless allegations, will the public finally give John Kerry the finger he so richly deserves?!
Meanwhile, tires slashed election day on 20 GOP vans in Michigan - something that actually happened in verifiable physical reality - goes largely unreported.

"Last year, too many people were denied their right to vote; too many who tried to vote were intimidated," Mr. Kerry said Yes, but Bush won anyway, you moron. He really needs to get over himself. I wish he'd get a life. Preferably in France.
