Authorities in California and Florida are looking for two teenage girls reported missing in separate incidents.
In California, the FBI’s Sacramento office is helping in the search for Ashleigh Markley, a 14-year-old who disappeared on March 29 as she was visiting her grandmother and other relatives in Lincoln, Calif.
Lincoln police initially considered Ashleigh to be a runaway but the Citrus Heights Police Department, which took over the case last week, considers Markley missing and at risk. Ashleigh lives in Citrus Heights, a community near Sacramento.
Officials think Ashleigh may be with Lindsay Jones, 28, who the teenager met during an Easter event at her grandmother’s house. Jones is also known as Lindsay Rehders.
Ashleigh is white, 4-foot-11 inches and weighs 86 pounds, with blue eyes, blonde hair and piercings in her tongue and navel. Anyone with information about her is asked to call Citrus Heights police at (916) 568-5115.
In Florida, a large-scale search is on in the Hillsborough County community of Ruskin for a missing 13-year-old girl.
Sarah Lunde has run away from home before but has never been gone this long.
Her 17-year-old brother last saw her Saturday night after she returned home unexpectedly from an overnight trip to a church camp. The brother went out that night and returned early Sunday to find the front door standing open. His sister was gone.
Sheriff David Gee said his office is checking on 24 registered sexual predators or offenders who live near the family's mobile home. Investigators have spoken with all but three of them.

No mention of a father (shock,shock), but according to an article I read, the girl was supposed to be on an overnight church event, and came home unexpectedly. Mom, thinking she was gone for the night had gone "out of town".
Don't worry. Hillary's village is there....somewhere. According to Hillary, parents are no longer necessary. The Socialist state will raise the children for us, don't chya know?

It's that season again...as soon as it warms up and the days get longer, the predators are on the prowl.
