'His Royal Highness of Incarceration' is the reincarnated King Nebuchadnezzar (Saddam Hussein)

What do United Nations soothsayer Sri Chinmoy and deposed Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein have in common?

Both are sworn disciples of the occult and both think they are reincarnations of historical giants.

Chinmoy, who reads hands at the UN, has stated that he was Thomas Jefferson in another life.

Saddam believes he is the "literal reincarnation" of King Nebuchadnezzar II, according to "investigative mythologist" William Henry and others. (Stephen Wagner, Your Guide to Paranormal Phenomena Newsletter).

It’s a consistency of reincarnation that the modern-day reincarnated are always returned princes and kings and never the pantry cat.

History buffs will remember that King Nebuchadnezzar was the architect of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

In geographical terms, Saddam didn’t have to go far to find himself a "literal reincarnation". Babylon is Iraq today.

Nebuchadnezzar, who ruled from 605 to 562 BC, created an era of prosperity for long ago Babylon.

Saddam parroted the ancient king’s propensity for undertaking ambitious construction projects, such as ornate temples and shrines; the reinforcement of walls and pyramids and striving to make Babylon the most powerful nation in the world.

American troops discovered ostentatious palaces and underground bunkers soon after their invasion of Iraq.

"Saddam is saying he is the reincarnated Nebuchadnezzar," writes Henry in Saddam Hussein, the Stairway to Heaven and the Return of Planet X. He is attempting to recreate and outdo the feats of the biblical king." . . . .

When is Saddam going to be tried? It's been nearly a year and a half since we captured him and still not much has been done except a hearing. We need to speed this up.

But reincarnation is not believed in Islam. I think someone just earned himself a beheading for his anti-Islamic beliefs.

I was told by a gypsy that I was a whale in a past life. Gypsies, real ones, are very strange.

Did you see Ramsey Clark on MSNBC last night? Looks like Saddam is setting up a legal malpractice appeal.

SNORT! Could be. Not that I believe in reincarnation drivel, but as I recall, the Nebuchadnezzar mentioned in the Bible was a dumb butt of epic proportions with an ego to match. He also was a jerk to Israel. He also was brought very low.

Tasty pick, there Saddam. Dumb butt.

No I didn't. What's up with that? Why's he claiming malpractice?

Each heart against Saddam hardens
For him there will be no pardons
Nebuchadnezzer or nope
He'll end up with a rope
We hope......in the old Hanging Gardens

Well, I may have an orca last round, because I love sushi and seafood, and have no taste for shoes--a sin for a woman. On the other hand, I don't really believe in reincarnation, and I didn't believe the last time either.
