I'm just real glad I live in the sticks at this point.

Yeah! But you have to worry about the Chupacabra.

I'm shocked this was written and published by the Memphis Flyer. They are about as left as the Minneapolis Red Star paper.

Maybe it's a pig and an acorn...

Islamofascists view the MSM as useful idiots, but that's baloney. The MSM know perfectly well what they're up to and why. They just don't care.

Dual citizenships with countries that sponsor terrorism should be cancelled. . .put on hiatus. . whatever. . .cross-travel like this man was able to enjoy should not be allowed.

Sounds like the making of a new 'cell' hoping to make a difference. . .

I am sorry they mention the 'informers' name; he should have the benefit of anonymity. . .

I pity any fool who would attempt to launch a shooting attack around here. They would find themselves confronted with 75 to 100 heavily armed locals pretty quickly.

Anyone read about this in the Washington Post or LA Times? I guess this doesn't rank as news. A copy of this article should be sent to all the "spineless" ones in Congress. Oh, I forgot, they're too busy fighting each other rather than actually do anything meaningful about "illegal" immigration. Apparently, defending this country comes in last after partisan bickering and pork barrel politics.

The BushClintonBush administration's immigration practices come home to roost.

What are you talking about?

SENATOR Edward Kennedy has been the godfather of America's immigration policy since the mid 1960s. No other figure in American politics bears as much responsibility as he for the current pathetic state of U.S. immigration affairs.

As chairman of the Senate Subcommittee on Immigration, Senator Kennedy has had chief oversight responsibility for the Immigration and Naturalization Service, which he has allowed to degenerate into one of the most ineffective agencies in the Federal Government. He was the chief sponsor of the Immigration Amendments of 1965 and the Refugee Act of 1980, and a major proponent of the fraud-ridden 1986 immigration amnesty. In each case, he has grossly miscalculated the number of immigrants who would enter the country, the administrative burdens on the INS, and the magnitude of fraud.

"Free Republic......"

I can't see an islamic extremist infiltration of Free republic. I do think there are islamic extremists in the DU trying to incite violence from the DUmmies. It's a constant drumbeat of calls to overthrow the govt over there.

Thank you for that ping.

When the FBI said a few weeks ago there were no terrorist cells here, or they couldn't find any, I was pretty discouraged that the agency seems so incompetent this many years post 9/11.

Make no mistake about it, they ARE here...and its only a matter of time before "something" happens...again. Be vigilant.

I think things have already happened. I can't begin to list the number of peculiar incidents that have had "no terrorists links." The most memorable was the plane that crashed into Queens...ala a shoe bomber.

The FBI cant find their shoelaces. We are better off hiring street gangsters to find terrorists.

I do a lot of research on the web regarding tax rolls, appraisals and such. About 1/3 of the vacant land I research belong to many Abdu's and Muhammad's. It's quite remarkable. Also, the commercial sales of gas stations with food sales are over half purchased by these types. They pay cash. Hmmmmm....

We've done it before. During WWII mobsters kept an eye on Americas shipyards and ports to watch for saboteurs and spies.

Mr. President and congressmen: Why are these people given entry into the U.S.?

We aren't suffering a depopulation decline and so do not need to import any warm body that wants to enter this country, even though they may want to slit our throats.

How about a return to a sane, pre-1965 immigration policy wherein we allow entry only to those we NEED in this country? By definition, that would limit immigration to highly educated, highly skilled persons (not millions of tomato pickers) who will not likely be on welfare if seasonal work runs out.

It would also exclude immigrants from countries that produce terrorists. No exceptions, since you can't tell from looking whether an Islamist from the middle east only wants to engage in a profession here where he can make more money or whether he wants to fly a plane into a building. No more immigration from Moslem countries until they get their houses in order and quit producing terrorists.

Our president and congressmen have completely failed us on this issue and for that reason alone should be ousted.
