_The possibility of a national voter registration system with some kind of national identity card like a voter registration card or citizenship card.

Last I checked this is the "United States of America" not the "United State of America". As I recall the US Constitution guarantees a republican form of government.

Brit had John Fund on FOX discussing this. Good man, made excellent points, esp about privacy issues and the need to keep the Fed out of state business.

What we need is:

1) Transparent and open electronic voting, with a paper trail (yes DUmmies, we actually agree on this one)

2) Some type of voter ID system that prevents or at least minimizes voter fraud.
