I know this has been circulating FR for several days now, but I received my print copy of the April 25, 2005 edition of Time yesterday. There is the picture on page 34 and the caption reads: "Protesters blast Coulter at the G.O.P. Convention in New York City last year, above left." I counted no less than four Protest Warrior "official" signs in the picture. The irony is delicious. I was surprised that the Time staffers didn't catch this and yank the photo from the final print version. But there it is. Although the Protest Warrior logo is cropped from the sign in the foreground, it still partly visible in the middle sign. Protest Warrior strikes again!

Even more hilarious was the reaction at DU. I sometimes go there for a laugh and the DUers were freaking out over Time's mistake. It fueled their conspiracy theories about a right-wing media gone mad. :)

Time just has its Dan Rather Memo moment --- editing the news to create a false impression.

Yes, that is the picture on page 34. It looks like the Communists for Kerry.com was cropped from the top of the picture in the magazine version. So was the "criminals for gun control" sign in the top of the picture. Freepers should check out ProtestWarrior.com.

The online version of Time has corrected their caption to say that it is GOP supporters in the picture. The magazine picture is severly cropped and you can't read some of the signs. It is quite funny though. Some photo editor.

Treason, easily. Followed by Slander. Her latest book (How to Talk to a Liberal) is a compilation of her columns, so you'd probably find it redundant. High Crimes and Misdemeanors, which was her first book and is about the Clinton impeachment, was the only one I couldn't get all the way through. The nature and details of Clinton's crimes make for boring reading - she even acknowledges this in the book.

"My pretty-girl allies stick out like a sore thumb amongst the corn-fed, no make-up, natural fiber, no-bra needing, sandal-wearing, hirsute, somewhat fragrant hippie-chick pie wagons they call "women" at the Democratic National Convention."

Seems like every time she gets fired from a mainstream media gig, her legend grows.
