A New Orleans political consultant who is Senator Kennedy's brother-in-law, Raymond Reggie, has been operating in Democratic circles for the last three years as an undercover informant for the FBI, sources close to the matter said yesterday.
At a federal court hearing yesterday morning, Reggie, 43, who organized fund-raisers for President and Mrs. Clinton, pleaded guilty to two felony charges, bank fraud and conspiracy. Prosecutors described check-kiting and loan fraud schemes he operated involving three Louisiana banks, but they did not publicly detail his cooperation with the government.

When Mrs. Clinton traveled to New Orleans in May 2000 to raise $100,000 for her Senate campaign, Reggie was on the host committee.
An attorney for the Clintons, David Kendall, had no immediate response yesterday to questions about Reggie's role in Mrs. Clinton's Senate campaign or about the possibility that Reggie might have taped one or both of the Clintons.

Didn't Dick Morris say on Hannity and Combs last night that there is a big scandal brewing that is going to sink Hillary. I wonder if this is what he was talking about?

Oh, to be a fly on the wall at Fat Teddy's humble abode at the Hyannis compound. Lots more scotch ordered, no doubt.

The Clinton's should have gone for the "finger in the chili" scam. It is more in keeping with their Fort Marcy Park-Ron Brown type expertise.

Senators Kerry & Dorgan have attached an amendment to the war appropriation bill that would de-fund an investigating committee looking into Clinton administation dealings.
The Dems are trying to bury this investigation because it will implicate some big Clinton administration people and in the process embarrass Hillary.
Whatever is in the report is trying to be kept secret. If they can defund the committee the report will never see the light of day.

But this is new indictment.
The donks are busy patching a leaky dike. As soon as they stifle one investigation, another one is opened.
It has been so long since the donks were in power and so many enablers and co-conspirators that the Feds should be able to expose Hillary and Co. no matter what their remnants do. I read that the Clintons had investigative dirt of 3600 former members of the Reagan and GHWB administrations. But, after 16-25 years, these folks are either bullet proof because they have no real skeletons, old, infirm and almost forgotten or passed on.
I find it delicious that this investigation has targeted a Kennedy relative.

This is an astounding story. I wonder how long it will take for the MSM to compare what Kennedy's in-law did with what Linda Trip did?
LOL.
