Would you agree that a military strike that would degrade their weapons and logistics, along with a concurrent decapitation of the Islamic Government would be a logical scenerio in the event that we use force?
By my thinking, that would be the most logical course, once we can line up some possible support from dissidents.

The people of Iran were dealt a bad hand by being stuck with the Mullahs. They had no 2nd Amendment and the Mullahs have all the guns. They might need a little help and if the Mullahs tick the wrong way, there will be a new government in Iran someday....
Oh, heck, I agree. I wasn't even considering nuclear weps.
The Mullahs have all the power, and the idea of a sucessful popular rebellion without help, is wishful thinking.

yes we did, except there the northern alliance had some weapons. Afghanistan was and really still is a buyers market for weapons.....
The Mullahs in Iran have had more time and are much more efficient than the Taliban was at that....
The fact is, the muslim fanatic knows no other language than the use of force. To sit back and timidly respond with a few puny bombs or cruise missiles of conventional capacity would be to blink in the face of a mad dog. Inviting further bites and allowing ourselves to be slaughtered by the proverbial "thousand cuts".
The ancients would destroy their enemies by sowing their fields with salt and crushing their cultures. It is inevitable that we in the West will confront the muslim fanatics in a much larger war than what we now see. The decision to use all means and methods available to utterly vanquish them, when the time comes, must be made and must be stood behind by those we entrust with our lives. To do otherwise is to sign our collective death warrants.

Any such threat should be met with an immediate nuclear response.
If this is a not so veiled threat to use nuclear weapons against home soil, given the FOXNEWS special last night, the thought is frightening indeed. I certainly hope we have taken enough of our subs and retargeted them on Iran so as to simply eradicate the country....if we use the Neutron Bomb, we can even keep their oil!
